Homemade Heath Bars

I am gonna make these during the blizzard today!

That oughta warm up the house!



Heath Bars
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
Saltine crackers (or graham)
1 bag chocolate chips

Spread crackers out on foil lined cookie sheet. 
Boil butter and sugar for 2 minutes.
Pour over cracker.
Bake at 400 for 6-7 minutes.  Do not over bake, will burn easy. Watch the color it will turn a little darker, but pull it out if it starts to get real dark. You just want it to bubble a little while so it caramelizes. 
Pour bag of chocolate chips evenly. After they melt, spread evenly.
Let it cool (cools faster in fridge).
Break into pieces. 

Yum!
