Hey, it's me!

It's cold here.

And super windy.

But that has nothing to do with this post! Just thought yall should know. It borders on refreshing... but then falters. I do love that I can wear my fav green sweatshirt.
I know some of yall are wondering where I am on my running and weight loss. Well, there hasn't been any running since spring and no loss. No surprise there has even been some gain! Okay, quite a bit of gain. Honestly it doesn't really bother me! I mean, it doesn't eat at me or fill me with guilt. It's not like I didn't know it was happening and I actually enjoyed it (the "eating anything" part) and didn't really care, only in that , I knew I could go back to running and Weight Watchers and take it back off.
So that is what I am doing! I started last Wednesday! I have run everyday but one so far. I walk on the treadmill 5-10 minutes and then run for 30 or more then walk 5-10 more. I get to 2-3 miles in that time. Not great speed yet. But I will step it up as I go! A friend and I are gonna do a 5K next spring to keep us motivated! I have to baby my back (had two surgeries...with long term complications.... long story).
I love the whole "points" thing on WW. I could do it on my own, but somehow tracking it online is handy and is some kind of accountability. So it works for me! So I joined online again. I don't go to meetings. I just use the web stuff. The have several programs, but I like the points tracker and have not tried the others!
Biggest Loser is starting off to be a good season! And a great motivation!

My goal is to take off at least 22 lbs this time. Last time I took off 28 and gained back .....ummmm.......I can't say it..... lets just say...a lot ....but definitely not all of that.
Wednesdays will be my weigh-in day! The day after BL!
FYI: I am still eating Chocolate Twizzlers, but in great moderation. But thrilled that I can lose weight and still sneak them in! AND I am still eating very healthy along side them! Really I am! WW kind of makes you do that! Unhealthy stuff is just not worth the points! ha! Unless it's chocolate Twizzlers, of course.
Oh, and to those with whom I work, don't freak out! I will still bring tasty stuff to work! Trust me! But I also might try out some WW recipes on you without telling you! ha ha! You'll never know!!!

to hear God laugh

What an amazing privilege it is to bring our prayers to the God of all the universe, the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign God. When I am crying out to Him in my time of need... I must admit I don't always come with a heart of gratitude... sometime I come to Him as if He is a magic lamp I wanna rub to see if my wish will come true.
The other day after Jedd finished looking a a toy catalog, he plopped down in a chair beside me with his head low and asked,"Why don't you ever get us anything?" I laughed out loud!
But whew, isn't that the attitude of my heart sometimes before the God of the universe?! I hope He laughs with love at my immaturity and gently reminds me all that He HAS given me.
I can't wait to stand before Him someday and hope to hear him laugh! Well, I take that back, maybe I wanna hear Him laugh at Sarah first!

It was so bad I had to pull it back! Whew!

Okay, now we play. I found that the pics were way over exposed. So I changed all kinds of settings and wound up with a lot of photos that were underexposed, too dark! (Kinda sound like goldilocks! and maybe look like her too) So I pushed that wonderful combination of buttons that resets everything!
Whew! So thankful!
And we start over.
There were tons of lame pics, but I give you a few of them that turned out!

I quickly got tired of looking at my forced smile and started trying other expressions. I do watch America's Top Model! HA!

I found out I am not cut out for modeling!

Back to the hair.... how short do I go?
Keep the length and get some layers put back in?
Keep the "bob" of sorts and shorten it?

My childhood

Isn't she kinda weird and charming all at once? I think she is a puppy, right?
I think she actually belongs to my sister. She is only about four inches high.
I think she was Jeannie's nightlight.
I think it sat on her dresser when I was little.
We shared a room. I don't even know how I ended up with her. But she goes in a special spot in my room ( my dresser *smile*), just because she instantly takes me back to my childhood. I still remember turning her on and watching the eyes glow as I fell asleep. She matched the blue ribbed cotton bedspreads on our beds. Anyone else grown up with ribbed cotton bedspreads? Not the chenille ones, the thin ~hangs to the floor, looks striped kind of...???? I don't have a picture of it, so you get this, me and my buba back then:
