Remember this?

Well, I have enjoyed it. BUT I also have been very aware of the fact that it doesn't match anything. Nothing in our bedroom matches since there is no other decor and an old quilt on the bed. Well, I have looked for years for the perfect bedspread or quilt that I loved and was still on sale. For years. For about four years I have looked.
A few weeks ago I was looking at a weekly freebie from a digital scrap-booking website and there it was!!!! The comforter was the inspiration for some fun digital art someone had created and they showed the "inspirational item" which was the comforter.

Problem: it was from Pottery Barn.

Blessing: it was on clearance!!!!

So it's here!


I am in love!!!

Well, this new comforter
was screaming for the wall to match!!!

With the free digital art from that website
and some paper I already had....

.... it was perfect!
( I should update the photos but for now I left the ones that were there.)

THEN!!!! Yes the story gets better.....

I have also looked equally as long
for some bright colored retro-looking canisters.....
that would go with the kitchen too.....
