Tears don't bother me

not anymore. They are part of life. They remind me of the Keeper of the Universe.

This morning I woke up with a headache.
Did my neck stretches.
Made oatmeal for Russ.
Whined about the wet towel wadded up at the table and left in a chair.
Gave it to Daniel who started a load of laundry.
Hugged Daniel and thanked him for the sweet note he left for me on the stove.
Yelled for Jedd to get up and took bets on what mood he would be in when he got upstairs.
I won! he actually had on "happy pants" this morning! Not his usual morning mood.
Got on the treadmill despite the headache.
Ran over 2 miles.
Took the boys to school.
Cried as I listened to this song on the way home.
The tears poured.
And it was okay.
And I prayed.
Prayed for those that I love who are hurting.

Weight tracker Wednesday!

Well, I lost one of the two pounds I gained back a couple weeks ago! Yeah! Just wish I wasn't just going back and forth.

I am having fun checking them out!

I did find two whole albums from an artist I didn't know! I love them both! Hawk Nelson is the artist and the albums are "Live Life Loud" and "Smile, It 's the End of the World"
Fun music AND good running music!
I also found a group called Mikeschair with a few songs I really like!
I think itunes loves me this week!
I do this about times a year! Load up and then enjoy for months!!! It take so much time to find songs I like that I don't have the patience to sit and find good stuff very often!

I had a great run today! I tell myself that if I have time to go 4 miles that I have to get there (even if I walk some), because there are other days I just don't have time to go more than a couple miles or even run at all!

I admire those of you training for a full marathon! Yikes! That is amazing commitment! For now I will stick with my 4 mile regime and just try to increase my speed.

I usually run on the treadmill and watch stuff I have recorded on TV. The one thing that makes me stop running is boredom. I hate to be bored. But with such great new tunes in my ipod I decided to run with music on Friday to see if I did better with music.
Yep! I did! I was so preoccupied with the music that I ran for a longer stretch beat my four mile time by 6 minutes!

I am now going to load on my ipod: Tobymac, Skillet, and Stellar Kart! I need to brave the OUTDOORS in the near future with my running as I prepare for my first 5k!

Any other suggestions for running tunes, y'all!?!?! Please tell!

The headaches......I just read that running can cause headaches via the tension in the neck. Hmmmmm.... the neck injury strikes again!
To all of you who see me in real life on a regular basis...... know that I am not a freak, I am just doing neck stretches pretty much 24/7 lately. While I drive, while I work, while I walk into work, etc. I think it is time for a professional neck massage... don't you?

Oh how He wants me to let go and trust Him with.... with.... everything. And I fight it. I fight to make everything work how I think it should work, and fight to make things look the way they should look, and think somehow that is how I feel safe and secure.

Nope. It is the opposite.

The joy.

The safety.

The security.

All from Him. Just like He promised to do all along. Just like I knew He could.
